Event: 2026 Complete Pema Lingpa Empowerments and Oral Transmissions -Pedling Chökhor

Presiding Vajra Master: H.H. Gangteng Tulku Rinpoche, the Ninth Body Emanation of the Vidyadhara and Tertön King Pema Lingpa

Event Dates: October 2–26, 2026 (25 days)

Venue: Gangteng Buddhist University (Gangteng Shedra), Bhutan

Registration Period: From now until September 10, 2026

※ Accommodation is limited. Early registration is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

II. Event Schedule

October 2–9 — Week One
Guru Jewel Ocean Cycle - Lama Norbu Jamtso: Peaceful and Wrathful Guru Deity Practices

 

October 10–17 — Week Two
The Great Perfection Cycle of The Union of Samantabhadra’s Intention 

 

October 18–25 — Week Three
The Great Compassionate Red Avalokiteshvara Cycle: Peaceful and Wrathful Deities

 

October 26 — Concluding Day
Amitayus Empowerment

※ Participants may select the dates of the empowerments and oral transmissions they wish to attend according to their individual schedules.
※ The maximum permitted stay in Bhutan is 30 nights.

III. Airport Pick-up and Drop-off Service

  • Route: Paro International Airport, Bhutan, to Gangteng Buddhist University

  • The journey takes approximately seven hours each way.

  • Participants may choose their preferred airport pick-up and drop-off dates.

  • Earliest airport pick-up date: September 30, 2026

  • Latest airport drop-off date: October 28, 2026

IV. Fees

I. Round-trip Airfare between Bangkok and Bhutan — Optional

  • Estimated fare: NT$33,600 / US$1,050

  • Participants traveling to Bhutan from locations other than Bangkok must arrange and purchase their own airfare.

II. One-time Fees — Payable upon Registration

  • Visa fee: NT$1,280 / US$40

  • Transportation fee: NT$640 / US$20

** The transportation fee includes airport pick-up and drop-off, as well as daily transportation between the accommodation and the event venue.

III. Bhutan Sustainable Development Fee — Payable upon Registration

In accordance with Bhutanese government regulations, all foreign visitors are required to pay Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) on a per-person, per-night basis.

- Calculation: NT$3,200 × number of nights in Bhutan

  • Adults: NT$3,200 / US$100 per person per night

  • Children aged 6–12: NT$1,600 / US$50 per person per night

IV. Daily Accommodation Fees

  • A1 — Single Tent: US$50 per tent per night

  • A2 — Two-person Tent: US$70 per tent per night

  • A3 — Three-person Tent: US$100 per tent per night

NoteA deposit of NT$15,000 is payable upon registration.

A deposit of NT$15,000 is required at the time of registration. Please prepare the remaining accommodation balance in US dollars based on the number of nights you will stay and pay it upon arrival in Bhutan.

 

- Important Notes :

  1. The accommodation fee includes:

  • breakfast and dinner. (Lunch will be arranged separately at the Gangteny Shedra.)

  • Use of toilets and shower facilities.

  • Comfortable Mattress、Blanket、Bed Lines and Towel.

  • Participants must bring their own toiletries, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush, soap, and other personal hygiene items.

  1. Participants choosing a two-person or three-person tent must arrange their own tent-mates before registering.

  2. For shared tents, both participants must enter each other’s full passport name and contact telephone number in their respective registration forms.

  3. Hotel accommodation is currently reserved for elderly participants, children, and those with health-related needs. Those requiring hotel accommodation must first email the Buddhist Center with an explanation and application.

VI. Payment Information

I. Full Payment upon Registration

The following fees must be paid in full at the time of registration:

  • One-time fees, including the visa and transportation fees

  • Bhutan Sustainable Development Fee(SDF)

  • Accommodation deposit

** The total amount payable will be displayed on the payment page.

II. Payment Methods

For participants in Taiwan:

For overseas participants:

※ Please complete registration and payment by September 10, 2026, so that airfare, accommodation, and meals can be reserved in advance.

VII. Important Notes

  1. The above fees apply only to participation in the Complete Pema Lingpa Empowerments and Oral Transmissions. Any additional personal travel or activities must be arranged and paid for separately.

  2. Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance.

  3. An emergency contact must be provided on the registration form so that the appropriate person can be contacted in the event of an emergency.

  4. The above fees are collected and transferred by the Yeshe Khorlo (Taiwan) Center on behalf of the relevant service providers. No separate receipt will be issued.
